ABOUT ECO CAR WASH
ECO Wash, was born from the fact that conventional car washes waste 33 billion litres of potable water per annum, and are therefore simply not sustainable.
In a world where a billion people don’t have access to clean water- we think this needs to be changed.
MEET BABALU NOMBEBE
Babalu is a social entrepreneur with mighty charisma. He is the face of the working relationship between Eco Car Wash and Afri-CAN Charity where he has embedded our Free School Breakfast programme into his car wash services by making a donation of 10 rand towards a breakfast inclusive in this pricing and service strategy.
Lakheni is a social enterprise which harnesses the aggregated buying power of low-income communities.
This social enterprise aims to give buying power back to communities.
They support communities to buy together in order to get goods and services at a lower price.
MEET NOKWETHU & LAUREN
Nokwethu is the CEO at Lakheni. She has experience in the FMCG industry working in trade marketing with informal and independent retailers.
Lauren is the COO of Lakheni and brings her experience as an engineer and project manager of infrastructural development projects to the team. Learn more about Lakheni
