18th August 2011, Lilongwe—The Afri-CAN Café Cooperative Charity is pleased to announce that it has completed a further two Cafés to be installed within the coming weeks.
Persistent turmoil in the country may delay operational roll out, with continued fuel shortages and unrest.
Stefan Allesch-Taylor ACC Chairman said ‘The roll out is clearly important to us all. Two new Cafés bring in another six to eight full time Staff Members. However we focus too on ensuring the existing Afri-CAN Cafés function as well as they can and the optimistic outlook of the ACC team in Malawi remains an inspiration to everyone involved. As does their tremendous determination and work ethic to keep the Cafés operating as normal as they can.’
We are pleased to welcome Ivy, a new Staff Member who joins us from the Government State House and who has trained as a nutritionist and caterer.
