The Afri-CAN Café management team went through their first day of costing and stock-take training with professional Chef Jody Theodore. Some might recognize Chef Jody from TV.
It wasn’t all fun and games, Chef Jody has a serious side, he’s serious about helping the Philippi team make good food at affordable prices efficiently. Above you see the two managers May and Philancia hard at work costing for a private function we’d been asked to host on behalf of the Iyanda Youth Network Project.
We are pleased to announce that the private function was a huge success and we subsequently hosted a second function for them the following week.
Chef Jody will be back in November for another full day of training in stock allocation and bookkeeping.
