The Afri-CAN Café Co-operative Charity is pleased to announce that South Africa has been chosen as the second country for the Sub-Saharan Africa roll out.
Matthew Gill spokesman said ‘Our team visited Botswana, Mozambique, Namibia and South Africa. All of them had a great deal of potential for us. However as the economic powerhouse of the region we decided that South Africa was the next natural choice. South Africa’s own economic relationships with other countries in the region we believe will be of great benefit moving forward.’
The Afri-CAN Cafés have been 100% privately funded by donors since inception, this next phase of roll out will be seeking broad Governmental support from a variety of Governmental Departments as the charity maintains it’s focus on training, education and continued full time employment for the disadvantaged people in the communities in which it operates.
