11th April 2011, Bwaila—The Afri-CAN Café Cooperative Charity is pleased to announce that it has secured its first catering contract in Bwaila with Bwaila Hospital.
Stewart Kamene, The Afri-CAN Café General Manager said ‘We are delighted to be awarded this contract from Bwaila Hospital. We will be serving 30 meals a day, seven days a week which began on the 10th of April.’
The set schedule will include a choice of chicken, mutton or beef with nsima, rice or chips. The delivery will take the form of new ‘Café Lunch Boxes.’
Jessica Donnelly, spokesman for The Afri-CAN Cafés said ‘It’s great that this contract has been secured, it obviously increases the volume of business to the Bwaila Afri- CAN Café, which is terrific, because they have all worked really hard to make the
Bwaila Afri-CAN Café a success. It’s also great to be providing this kind of service to the Bwaila Hospital, anything we can do to help brighten the team’s days is a good thing. The work they do is clearly crucial to the welfare of so many.’
